Registration Fee
A nonrefundable registration fee of $125 per family will be billed upon submission of this registration.

Jacksonville Academy Online Agreement
Please read the entire agreement listed below before continuing. Then click “I AGREE” button if you agree.
The purpose of this agreement is to provide a mutual understanding of the goals and responsibilities of Jacksonville Academy Online, an affiliate of Jacksonville Assembly Christian Academy, by defining the school/parent/student relationship.


Program Goals

Supporting parents and guardians by:

  • Helping parents fulfill their God-given responsibility to be the primary educators of their children
  • Accept students at their current skill level
  • Prescribing a suitable course of study from the results of placement testing
  • Supplying the Online Academy curriculum needed for courses
  • Supporting parents with quality technical, administrative, and academic assistance
  • Evaluating, grading/reviewing, recording, and reporting student progress in a timely manner
  • Issuing a diploma upon successful completion of Jacksonville Academy Online graduation requirements

Parental/Guardian Responsibilities

The parent/guardian agrees:

  • To acknowledge that the Jacksonville Academy Online curriculum is written form a Christ-centered Christian worldview in accordance with the JAO mission statement.
  • To guide and motivate the student to complete the course of study prescribed by the staff at Jacksonville Academy Online on a daily basis, with the freedom to creatively enrich the basic studies with additional project, field trips, and lab work.
  • To supervise their student(s) in such a way that maximum learning and achievement may take place.  The parent/guardian is the primary educator and ultimately responsible for the child’s education. The parent/guardian further understands that all academic work the student submits to JAO should be his/hers solely, without access to answer keys, coaching, or plagiarism.
  • To study and become familiar with the JAO orientation materials, curriculum, and handbook and to abide by all policies and procedures therein.
  • To know, and abide by, the homeschool laws of their country, province, state, and local  county or parish.  Go to http://www.hslda.org/ for a brief description of state laws and the corresponding websites and e-mail addresses of the homeschool associations.
  • To ensure that your student submits work on a regular basis to allow ongoing oversight by JAO academic staff.
  • To help keep the communication lines open by letting the JAO teachers know when your student is struggling or is frustrated.
  • To encourage the student to observe the following rules for phone and online etiquette and behavior:
    1.   No student is to share his work or answers with any other student in any way. 
    2.   Student is to show courtesy and respect in all communications with the JAO staff.
  • To pay the tuition, or the first payment plan installment as scheduled by the Jacksonville Academy Online staff.  If paying installments by Paypal, to understand that remaining payment(s) will be charged automatically on scheduled due date(s).

• I understand that the registration fee in nonrefundable regardless of placement test results.

• I understand that Jacksonville Academy reserves the right to cancel enrollment at any time due to nonpayment of fees, unsatisfactory progress, program abuse or plagiarism, or failure to follow JAO procedures.

• I have read and understand the cancellation and refund policy (located in Tuition and fees).  If I choose to cancel or withdraw my student(s), I must notify Jacksonville Academy Online in writing or by E-mail.

• I understand that an academic year is considered to be 180 school days.
